Rhodelle: Concert on the Lawn

  • 19 Van Ryn Street Cape Town, WC, 7806 South Africa (map)
If you have a story to tell, a passion to pursue, something that moves you forward… find people to share it with and gather. Gather for dinner, gather for a walk, around a campfire — just gather. Watch what happens when you connect with others who are threaded with the same sense of purpose.
— offbeat + inspired

Join us for the first ever Concert on the Lawn! Six local and American artists will be playing two songs each. Bring a blanket to sit on, and we’ll provide free artisan filter coffee and homemade kettle corn. Artists include: Rory Eliot, Natasha Meister, Jennifer Evans, Maya Spector, Chase Barwick, and Ben Carter.

Edwin and Angie De Plooy, founders of Lavender Hill's Restorational Hands, operate a soup kitchen in Lavender Hill every Tuesday afternoon. They feed 100–150 children and adults on a weekly basis. All profits from the concert will be used to purchase supplies needed to start a children's craft ministry at the soup kitchen. Edwin and Angie will be joining us at Rhodelle to share their story.

The gathering is open to 30 people.

R120 per person

Cost includes concert admission, filter coffee, and popcorn. Because we must pay deposits in advance, tickets are non-refundable. Albums and specialty coffees will be for sale — cash only. Please bring your own blanket or seating.
