Bean to Brew Workshop

  • Youngblood 70-72 Bree Street Cape Town, WC, 8000 South Africa (map)
If you have a story to tell, a passion to pursue, something that moves you forward… find people to share it with and gather. Gather for dinner, gather for a walk, around a campfire — just gather. Watch what happens when you connect with others who are threaded with the same sense of purpose.
— offbeat + inspired

Julian Jordaan of Republic Coffee Co. and his team will be joining us again to talk about the journey of a coffee bean (coffee cherry) — from the plantation, to roasting, and finally, to brewing. There will also be a live roasting demonstration. This is a gathering for the coffee connoisseur and for any young adults keen on community!

Proceeds from this gathering will be donated to Future Stars (a local soccer ministry) and used to fund an 8-week Alpha course, including a one-day retreat, for 33 teenage boys in Lavender Hill and Capricorn Park. David Chirwa, the founder of the organization, will be joining us to share a bit about his vision and mission.

The gathering is open to 50 people.

R100 per person

Cost includes workshop admission, Republic filter coffee, and snacks. Because we must pay deposits in advance, tickets are non-refundable.
